1. General Statement

All content, materials, and assets available on the BDU website (the "Site"), including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and our digital home design blueprints ("Blueprints"), are the exclusive property of BDU or its licensors and are protected by international copyright laws. This policy outlines the terms of use for our copyrighted materials.

2. Ownership of Blueprints

When you purchase a Blueprint from BDU, you are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the design itself. Instead, you are purchasing a limited, non-exclusive license to use that design subject to the terms outlined in our Terms of Use and this Copyright Policy.

BDU retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the copyright of all Blueprints, including any derivative works.

3. Permitted Use (Your License)

Your license grants you the right to:

Build one (1) single structure from the purchased Blueprint.
Make necessary modifications to the Blueprint for the construction of that single structure.
Share the Blueprint with your builder, contractors, and local building authorities for the sole purpose of constructing that single structure.

4. Prohibited Uses and Infringement

Any use of our Blueprints outside the scope of the limited license is a direct infringement of our copyright. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

Reselling or Distribution: You may not resell, share, distribute, or sub-license the Blueprints in any digital or physical form.
Multiple Builds: You may not use a single purchased Blueprint to construct more than one structure. A new license must be purchased for each additional structure.
Public Display: You may not post our Blueprints on any website, forum, or public gallery without express written permission from BDU.
Creating Derivative Works for Sale: You may not modify our Blueprints to create and sell your own designs.

BDU actively protects its intellectual property and will pursue legal action against any party found to be infringing on our copyrights.

5. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

BDU respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on this Site, please notify our designated Copyright Agent.

For your complaint to be valid under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), you must provide the following information in writing:

An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Site.
Information reasonably sufficient to permit BDU to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
